      <title>OSCON da horizon...</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;and it is coming up fast.  O&amp;#8217;Reilly&amp;#8217;s Annual &lt;a href="http://conferences.oreillynet.com/os2006/"&gt;Open Source Convention&lt;/a&gt; in Portland, Oregon, that is.  If you have never been, come on out.  I&amp;#8217;ve been to a good number of conferences and conventions in my I.T. career, and I have found &lt;span class="caps"&gt;OSCON&lt;/span&gt; to be the most informative, stimulating, and just plain fun.  Just hanging with the folks who make a career of thinking outside the box is worth the price of admission.  So, I hope to see you there&amp;#8230;&lt;/p&gt;
